What was needed

World Courier runs specialised logistics, where an unplanned stoppage costs more than the shift: it compromises the chain. They had been calling different contractors for each need — the maintenance, the network, the lighting, the new build — and nobody had a complete view of the installation.

The difference between reacting and planning

Contracting electrical maintenance job by job carries a cost that appears on no quote: nobody knows the whole installation. Each contractor sees only the part they were given, there is no history, and decisions are made on partial information. When something fails, the diagnosis starts from zero.

A framework contract changes that dynamic. The same team surveys the installation once, keeps the record of what has been worked on and schedules ahead.
