Electrical designs and RETIE permits

We design and legalize electrical installations in compliance with RETIE and RETILAP, and we handle the entire filing with the grid operator so your new service is connected without setbacks.

What we do

The design the operator approves

An electrical design does not end when the drawing is finished. It ends when the grid operator approves it, the meter is installed and the service is energized.

We prepare the Series type design that matches your load and voltage level, with calculation reports and drawings, and we carry the filing from start to finish: service conditions, connection point, meters and account separation.

01

Series type electrical designs (Series 1, 2 and 3) based on voltage level and load.

02

Filing and approval with the grid operator (Enel Codensa and others).

03

Processing of service conditions, availability and connection point.

04

Meter requests and account separation.

05

Temporary site power and support during connection and energization.

06

Calculation reports, drawings and documentation for RETIE certification.

What we deliver

What the design package includes

Every document has a recipient: the grid operator, the certifying body or the team that will build. We prepare them all.

01 · Drawings

Electrical drawings

Single line diagrams, load schedules and distribution, drawn both to build and to file.

02 · Calculation

Calculation reports

Voltage drop, short circuit, protection and conductors, justified under code.

03 · Series

Series type design

We determine whether Series 1, 2 or 3 applies and prepare it in the format the operator requires.

04 · Filing

Grid operator filing

Service conditions, availability, connection point and follow up until approval.

05 · Metering

Meters and accounts

Meter requests and account separation for each user in the project.

06 · RETILAP

Lighting

Lighting design under RETILAP when the project calls for it.

Why it pays off

What your project gains from a design done right

Design is the cheapest stage to correct. Everything left unresolved here is paid for later in material, on site or in filing time.

Let's talk about your project
Approval without rejections

The design goes out in the format the operator expects, with complete documentation.

One point of contact

You do not have to chase the designer on one side and the filing agent on the other.

Justified protection

Every conductor size and every protective device is backed by its calculation.

Ready to certify

The documentation is assembled for the RETIE certifying body.

No surprises on site

Whoever designs also installs: the drawing is made thinking about how it gets built.

Nationwide coverage

We carry out designs and permits in the main cities and regions of the country.

How we work

From load survey to energization

Five stages and one accountable firm. No grey areas between whoever designs, whoever files and whoever connects.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

What is a Series type electrical design?
It is the design format the grid operator requires to connect or expand a service. Depending on the load and voltage level it is Series 1, 2 or 3; we determine which one applies and prepare it in full.
Do you handle the filing before Codensa/Enel?
Yes. We take care of the entire process before the grid operator: service conditions, design filing, meter requests and account separation.
Is the design RETIE compliant?
Yes. All our designs are prepared under the Technical Regulation for Electrical Installations (RETIE) and, for lighting, under RETILAP, with the documentation ready for certification.
Do you serve projects outside Bogotá?
Yes. We have nationwide coverage; we carry out designs and permits in the main cities and regions of Colombia.
Do you also build the project after the design?
Yes. We can deliver only the design and the filing, or also handle installation and commissioning under a single contract.
What do you need to get started?
The intended use of the property, the estimated loads and the architectural drawings if they exist. From there we define which Series applies and the scope of the filing.
